Grace Church – Rivne, Ukraine
Grace Church, led by Pastor Andriy Korniychuk, is a vibrant community of believers serving in the heart of a nation deeply affected by war. They are joined in their mission by HART, CSC and supporters to bring Christ's love to those whose lives have been shattered — families of fallen or missing soldiers, displaced people, and refugees seeking safety and stability.
The church's chaplaincy ministry shines on the front lines. Chaplains from Grace Church regularly travel to military positions, offering prayer and encouragement. Each week, they also minister at a military training centre, where around 300 soldiers receive spiritual counselling and the comforting message that God has not forgotten them.
At the core of church life are small groups — places where faith deepens and genuine relationships grow. Each week, believers gather to study the Bible, pray, and support one another. The church also runs women's study groups, creating safe and meaningful spaces for spiritual growth and mutual encouragement.
Grace Church has a special heart for the next generation. Through dynamic youth and teen programs, they reach out to young people — especially those who have never experienced the Gospel — helping them discover God's purpose for their lives and grow in faith.
The congregation also lovingly cares for 15 orphans living in the Vulyk ("Beehive") children's home, offering them a safe, nurturing environment and the experience of being part of a true family rooted in God's love.
Every Sunday, about 500 people gather for worship, fellowship, and teaching — a lively community united by compassion and a shared desire to serve others.
Looking ahead, Grace Church continues to dream boldly. By the end of 2026, they plan to build a new orphanage, and they are also preparing to launch NAMET ("The Tent"), a welcoming youth space that will foster ongoing connection among teenagers and young adults. In addition, the church envisions a media studio to reach the modern generation through podcasts, livestreams, and short videos. And to meet the growing hunger for community during this time of uncertainty, they aim to double the number of home groups across their region.
