The House of God Church – Rivne, Ukraine

The House of God Church (pastored by Lubomyr Turchak and assisted by HART, CSC and supporters) continues to grow and serve with one clear focus: strong families built on faith in God. Inspired by Joshua 24:15 β€” "But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord" β€” they see family as the foundation of both church and community life.

Because family is at the heart of their mission, they hold monthly Family Clubs, marriage retreats, and training groups designed to strengthen couples and parents. These gatherings help families grow closer to God and to one another, building homes rooted in love and faith.

In addition to family ministry, their teen ministry, launched in 2023, is developing rapidly. Every week, young people meet in small groups and take part in bi-monthly gatherings and three annual camps. Through mentorship and community, they are discovering how to live out their faith with confidence and joy.

Furthermore, every Saturday, local children gather at their Christian kids' club, where they learn about God in a caring and joyful atmosphere. Throughout the year, they organize Christmas and Easter celebrations, community events, and an annual summer camp to share God's love with the youngest generation.

To nurture spiritual growth among adults, they also provide opportunities for learning and discipleship. The members take part in leadership, men's, and women’s groups, as well as seminars on marriage and financial stewardship. In addition, their team supports a Bible Institute in the Rivne Region through regular mentorship and pastoral training, helping equip future church leaders.

Following God's leading, they recently planted a new church in a village 15 km from Rivne. There, they hold weekly services and Bible studies, run youth and children's camps, and organize community outreach events β€” bringing light and hope to a place that previously had no Protestant church.

Another vital part of their ministry is the Save a Life Mission, which serves women in crisis pregnancy situations. Through school programs, support groups, material aid, and personal counselling, they offer compassion, encouragement, and practical help to mothers and families in need.

Finally, every summer, their church family camp gathers most of the congregation β€” along with many guests who have yet to know Christ β€” for a time of fellowship, renewal, and evangelism. They also welcome smaller churches to join them, helping them grow stronger in faith and community.

Through it all, they thank God for the faithful partners who make this ministry possible. Because of your prayers and support, their small church continues to bring hope, healing, and the Good News to many.
