Revival is a divine visitation that infuses spiritual life in our Christian experience. The word revive means ‘to bring back to life’ and denotes the awakening of Christians and churches to a renewed, vibrant relationship with God. A survey of the Bible and Christian history bears testimony to God repeatedly kindling the fires of revival. When there is spiritual decline, in response to prayer, the Holy Spirit restores spiritual vitality to our individual lives as well as the community of God’s people. This is our prayer.
